Combination with Envisan and De Nul starts with the remediation of the Carcoke site in Zeebrugge

BOUWKRONIEK - The 'Openbare Vlaamse Afvalstoffenmaatschappij' (OVAM = Public Waste Agency of Flanders) starts with the excavation and groundwater treatment of the heavily polluted industrial sites of Carcoke at the Lisseweegsesteenweg in Zeebrugge. As such, the project enters into a new phase after the dismantling and demolition of the factory, which took two years and was completed in 2006. The most heavily polluted sites, such as two illegal tar dumps, will be tackled first. Safety for both the environment and employees is a top priority.
